BKKBN DIY Gelar Apresiasi Duta Genre Yogyakarta 2023
Perwakilan Badan Kependudukan dan Keluarga Berencana Nasional (BKKBN) Provinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY) menyelenggarakan kegiatan Apresiasi Duta Genre Yogyakarta Tahun 2023 pada hari Minggu (19/3), bertempat di The Alana Yogyakarta Hotel & Convention Center Yogyakarta.
Kegiatan dengan tema “Amemangun Karyenak Tyasing Sesama” ini diikuti oleh 30 finalis Duta Genre DIY 2023 dari 5 Kabupaten/Kota yang di DIY, setelah melewati proses seleksi di tingkat Kabupaten/Kota.
Kegiatan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kuantitas dan kualitas pelaksanaan pemberian akses informasi, pendidikan, dan konseling kesehatan reproduksi dan seksual, gizi, serta perencanaan kehidupan berkeluarga bagi remaja oleh Pendidik Sebaya dan Konselor Sebaya di PIK Remaja.
Dalam sambutannya mewakili Gubernur DIY yang berhalangan hadir, Kepala Dinas Pemberdaya Perempuan, Perlindungan Anak dan Pengendalian Penduduk (DP3AP2) DIY, Erlina Hidayati Sumarti, mengungkapkan bahwa gubernur selalu mengarahkan dan mewanti-wanti bahwa generasi muda sangat penting untuk dipersiapkan dengan Duta Genre inilah salah satunya.
“Gubernur DIY mengharapkan untuk selalu bersama-sama mewujudkan generasi muda yang unggul, termasuk diantaranya dengan adanya duta-duta genre yang di inisiasikan oleh BKKBN,” ungkap Erlina.
Selain itu, Erlina juga membacakan sambutan secara tertulis yang sudah di siapkan oleh Gubernur DIY.
“Assalamualaikum wr,wb. Shalom. Om swastiatu. Namo budhaya. Salam kebajikan. Berhubungan dengan sumber daya berkualitas merupakan salah satu pilar dalam pencapaian bagi salah satu visi pembangunan Indonesia 2045 yaitu manusia yang memiliki kecerdasan tinggi, menjunjung tinggi keluhuranisme berbudaya, religious, dan menjunjung tinggi nilai-nilai Pendidikan,” baca Erlina
Dengan ilustrasi tersebut, Gubernur DIY berharap dengan kehadiran duta genre DIY dapat menjadi cheers maker, dan agent of change melalui pemikiran ide-ide cemerlang, untuk mencapai kesetaraan di berbagai kesempatan.
Di akhir kegiatan ini, diumumkan juga juara-juara dari Duta Genre 2023. Dari ketigapuluh finalis Duta Genre 2023 tersebut diambil masing-masing 4 juara dari putra dan putri pendidik dan konselor sebaya tersebut.
Selain itu, juga diambil juara atribut kategori Duta Favorit, Duta Berbakat, Duta Persahabatan, Duta Intelegensi, dan Duta Inspiratif. (SC/L44)
